Day 3 -- back to work

I had the closing shift today, so I still managed to sleep in (I do this a lot -- it's actually more notable for me NOT to sleep in when I don't have to be doing something).
Woke up to Zoro's smushy face:

Which is always nice. Then I basically wandered around the apartment in my pajamas for a few hours. Caught up a on a few episodes of Justified:

plotted out bill payments for the month:

put a few epub files on Nami (my Nook):

Wore a new, lightweight sweater for work -- it's a little too cool for the dresses I bought the other day.

It's super comfortable, though I'm afraid the dust and grime of a working bookstore might be hard to keep out of that cream color.
Then it was off to the bus stop:

where the bus eventually showed up. (I'm almost shocked when it does come on time, actually. It rarely happens.)
Me, with my Bustime Sanity Protection Apparatus (or headphones. Whatever.):

My hair is . . . not actually that color? IDK the light was weird.
Made it to work only a few minutes late, and greeted the creepy Easter bunny, Bess, who sits outside our door:

Stuff the public doesn't see:
Freight elevator signs. Stock room signs . . . written in sharpie on the wall.
Upcoming display signage. (this is mostly my job -- organizing and setting up the displays, making sure the required monthly title lists are displayed appropriately for our store, creating new displays to fill space and appeal to local interests . . .)
A small percentage of the massive influx of Hunger Games books corporate sent us. This is . . . about 750 books? Mostly Catching Fire and Mockingjay in this shot. These boxes are stacked out in the employee hallway because there isn't room for them in the stock room.
My office, which I share with the other Merchant Manager and the two Assistant Managers (who are our bosses -- they aren't our assistants, but the Store Manager's.)
Here we keep track of institutional sales (schools, law firms, hospitals, etc) and orders for off site events (conventions, speaking engagements, library author signings etc) and in-store book signing (local authors, small presses, that sort of thing.) It's semi-controlled chaos, usually.

Dinner! Doritos and a cupcake from the cafe. (The pizza wasn't available.)
Picked up a few things while I was there (hazard of working in a place where I love to spend money . . .)

Gladiator soundtrack (I've been meaning to get it for a while), Teen Titans season 5, new umbrella.
Eventually, I closed down the store, and was off to the bus stop -- not in the rain, but just after it:

Empty bus!

And now I'm home! I was planning on making pasta, but nah. I'm just going to veg out watching another episode of Justified and go to bed.
