Hey turlough I got the socks! They are very comfortable, and I am envious of such even stitches. :D
I should be sending you some candles before long, though I don't have any idea how long they'll take to get across the pond.

The mail to and from the US can take anything from a week to a month in my experience. And it seems to be completely random! Sometimes an ordinary letter takes three weeks while a package takes one and a half. It's all very strange. One thing though, make sure it's very clearly stated on the outside that it's a gift. Customs have become much stricter and we now have to pay VAT on everything that's not a gift, no matter how low the value is.
