( The Carter-O'Neill Expeditionary Force found the ruins high in the mountains, half a world away from the star-port and not even close to the location tentatively marked out on Elizabeth's map. )
( Sometimes, when the sun sank low against the edges of the water and turned the blue to blood and fire, he could believe that the world had finished ending. )
Title: For You Must Come to My Dance
Word Count: ~1900
Warnings: takes place just before Summoned to Tourney, so may be spoilery for character development.
Summary: Eric finds himself alone, in a ghostly world, and his friends have to bring him back.
Notes: Lyrics are taken from Thomas Moore's Farewell! But Whenever You Welcome the Hour (which he set to the tune of the Irish air Moll Roone). Written for Marien, Yuletide 2010.

Title: Interlude at Winter's End
Word Count: ~2700
Warnings: not really -- takes place between the first and second books.
Summary: Sir Durge and Lady Beckett go for a ride at the end of winter.
Notes: This might be as close to fluff as I get. Which was not really what I started out writing -- I think I just wanted to see Grace and Durge get the chance to be friends, without an emergency or a disaster hanging over their heads. I hope it didn't turn out too mundanely.

Title: A Defense Against Demons
Word Count: ~4000
Warnings: none to speak of
Summary: Sheppard touches something he shouldn't, and sets loose a broken weapon made to combat the Ancients.
Notes: Written for Vecturist during the Sheppard_hc Secret Santa Exchange: For the prompt "Shep, Atlantis and the ATA gene - it can be anything from something affecting Shep's connection to the city to a withdrawal from Atlantis/Ancient tech when Atlantis is on Earth and Shep is stationed elsewhere. Bonus points for it affecting other members of the expedition."
Disclaimer: I don't own the characters of Stargate Atlantis and no infringement is intended, nor profit being made.
